Last year a young woman burst on the music scene from New York bringing smart lyrics, her own sense of style and a precocious little hit single that caught fire on VH1. Her name was Regina Spector. The song was Fidelity. This year, there is a young woman from New York bringing smart lyrics.... her name is Ingrid Michaelson. The trend is very much the same. Here's to hoping that Ingrid can parlay the fame better than Regina did. Regina's rarely been seen around VH1 lately. Hmmm...
