450! Wow, another milestone! We have reached the letter S in this theme and S is for Sweden, which the home of the band I wanna talk about- Sahara Hotnights. I saw the Sahara Hotnights live at the Siren Festival in 2003. As always, I went with M (who was a wee little one at the time). It's hard to keep a small child entertained at a rock concert. He had already been through seeing The Kills and !!!, the latter being a real downer. But the girls of Sahara Hotnights came out and revitalized the whole experience. When the band started into their brand of pop punk, it had my little one rocking. And the crowd loved them. I can vividly remember M dancing around while these guys were walking down the alley, screaming "alright, alright" while giving the big devilhorns. Good stuff.
