466- [Feb. 7th, 2008|10:41 pm]
I am still learning more and more about director Paul Fedor. For instance, today I learned that he went to Parsons School of Design, which is quite the institution in NYC. Another thing I've learned is that Fedor believes that if he had complete freedom and bigger budgets he could do amazing things in the field of music videos. And in keeping with that, on his website, he has put up director's cuts for many of his works. So far in 10kdays, I've posted about Flyleaf's "All Around Me" (466) and 30 Seconds to Mars' "Attack" (243); both which are Fedor works. The latter has a director's cut which you can see at http://paulfedor.com/film/mars30sec2.htm (the former isn't on the site yet). He also made one of my all time favorite videos. The video is full of strong statements, so the idea of a director's cut thrills me to no end. So I'm going to go watch it. I know you're probably wondering what the video is about. I don't wanna spoil it. Click the link and see for yourself.
