It's day 4 of my 2007-2008 TV season theme. I have already talked about the big 3 and i'll be honest, I've been a bit negative. I have found myself watching more of cable this year than any other year. And I have also watched a few shows on the smaller 2- FOX and the CW. Yes, I have actually watched something on FOX. No, it wasn't that god-awful American Idol. Nor would I waste my mind on an episode of Moment of Truth. The show I've been watching is the Sarah Connor Chronicles. I was pulled in by the fact it stars Summer Glau (of Firefly fame) as a Terminator. And I've kinda stuck with it, though it drives me up the wall with logistical problems. (If you're on the road...why keep the same first name and exact same look???) Another problem is what do I write about? Terminator doesn't use any music other than the score. It's problem the Roswell issue. For those who don't know, the TV show Roswell was held back from it's original DVD release date because they couldn't get releases for all the music. They had to actually put new music in the place of the original soundtrack. So, here's a YouTube vid that someone made of Terminator: SCC using a song that I like.
Song 478- "Life is Beautiful" by Sixx A.M. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7NqY-kjRDYo
And here's the actual Sixx A.M. video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PYlS_kmxES0
The song deserves a little note as well. It's by Sixx A.M., a side project of Motley Crue's Nikki Sixx. The album that this is from is essentially the soundtrack to his book The Heroin Diaries. I haven't read the book but from I know of the story, it should be very good. The story of Sixx and the drugs is a very sordid one. |
