And the final rock cliche of my rock cliche theme- Who's your daddy? This one is very timely because MTV is about to have a show about the children of musicians in an American Idol type setting. For some reason the kids of musicians think that they need to be musicians. Kelly Osbourne (Ozzy Osbourne), P. Exeter Blue (Cher), Ziggy Marley (Bob Marley), Julian & Sean Lennon (John Lennon), Lisa Marie Presley (Elvis Presley), Jakob Dylan (Bob Dylan)... I know that they grew up around music but does it mean that they have to go into music?
One rock star child that didn't end up in music is Zoe Kravitz. As the daughter of Lenny Kravitz and Lisa Bonet, one would expect her to fall into the same musical trappings. Nope, she followed mom and went into acting. But she didn't completely leave music alone as she stars in:
